6:25am
It’s now 6:25am. Daisy tells everyone the alarm has gone off and it’s time to get up in four minutes. Daisy also tells Paul to turn off the alarm by pressing the right button on the alarm, but Paul said he pressed it yesterday and so it’s Flo’s turn. Flo is still asleep and doesn’t take any notice, so Daisy grumpily presses the alarm herself and shouts at everyone to get up. Laura is a bit startled by Daisy’s shout and begins to cry, but Bill steps in with Laura’s favourite teddy and Laura calms down enough for everyone to get out of bed. Bill goes to put on the slippers, which should be on the left of the bed, but they aren’t there. Bill asks if anyone knows where the slippers are, and Daisy replies that Flo had them last night, but Flo is still asleep and no one can ask her yet. Bill reminds everyone that we always put the slippers on the left side by the bed, and Daisy says she’ll write a notice about it on the notice board. Bill isn’t sure whether to look for the slippers or not, but Laura has already opened the door and is getting ready for the shower. As soon as they enter the bathroom Eve asks if the hair was washed yesterday, or the day before. Bill says that if the bottle is on the left, it’s been washed, but on the right, to wash it today. Or that is how it should be, if everyone followed the rules. Paul laughs at Bill and calls him an idiot, and Laura laughs along too. Daisy steps in and reminds Paul that they all agreed to be kind to each other in the morning time, and asks Paul to apologise. Paul sighs and says sorry to Bill, but Bill isn’t really listening and is trying to look for the bottles. They get in the shower and Eve sets the temperature of the water, but Laura complains it’s too cold, and Daisy turns it down a little. Eve decides to wash the hair, but no one is sure when the hair was last washed. Daisy says to everyone that it doesn’t really matter, that clean hair is a nice thing. Eve finishes the hair and carries on with the shower. Flo wakes up, still half asleep, sees that they are in the shower and decides to wash the hair, before anyone can say it’s already been washed today. Bill starts to get angry at Flo, for losing the slippers and washing the hair twice, but Flo is confused because she hasn’t lost the slippers, and the hair has only been washed once, by her. Bill is about to call Flo an idiot, but Paul steps in and reminds him that we all have to be kind in the morning time, and he laughs, and Laura laughs too. Daisy asks for everyone to calm down and get out of the shower, everyone agrees and they get out the shower. Jenni finally wakes up, sees that they are in the bathroom, steps into the shower and washes the hair. Daisy and Bill shout to Jenni that this has already been done today, but Jenni says the bottle was on the right, so nothing has been done. Bill says to Jenni that they have just had a shower and washed the hair, and that he forgot to move the bottle to the left. Paul and Laura laugh. Daisy shouts for everyone out of the shower. It’s now 6:40am.
This is an experience of DID, on a good day, with everyone getting on well, and no flashbacks.
14 hours and 20 minutes of the day remain.
